Patrick Dinkins, a 41-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was found dead on September 27, 2016. His decomposing body was discovered inside a building on North Brice Street after complaints of a foul odor led police to the scene. Dinkins had been the victim of a stabbing, with his body showing multiple stab wounds.
