On August 25, 1985, Deputy Sheriff Jose "Joe" Cisneros of the Solano County Sheriff's Department was tragically killed in the line of duty. At the age of 40, Deputy Cisneros was responding to a call about a suspicious van without license plates parked on a rural county road.
