Robert Jimenez, a resident of Indio, California, tragically lost his life on June 8, 1986. On that fateful day, Jimenez was barbecuing in his backyard when he was suddenly and brutally attacked. He was shot three times, and a fourth shot struck him as he attempted to crawl back towards his house to call for help. The attack was unprovoked and left the community in shock and mourning.
