Elian Lopez, a 16-year-old resident of Indio, California, tragically lost his life on March 24, 2017. The incident occurred late at night around 11:48 p.m. at the Cielo Vista Apartments located on Shadow Palm Avenue. According to reports, Lopez was in the courtyard of the apartment complex when he was shot multiple times.
