Henrietta Wright, a 34-year-old woman from Los Angeles, was found dead on August 12, 1986. Her body was discovered in an alley near the 2500 block of West Vernon Avenue in Hyde Park, Los Angeles. Wright had been shot multiple times, and her body was concealed under a discarded mattress. At the time of her death, the Los Angeles Police Department had no suspects, and it was believed that she might have been killed elsewhere before being dumped in the alley.
