Bernita Rochelle Sparks, a 26-year-old woman from Los Angeles, California, was tragically found dead on April 15, 1987. Her body was discovered in a trash bin located in the 9400 block of South Western Avenue in Gramercy Park. The Los Angeles Police Department reported that she had been shot with a small-caliber gun. This brutal murder was part of a series of killings attributed to a serial killer known as the "Grim Sleeper."
