Lachrica Denise Jefferson, a 22-year-old woman, was found dead on January 30, 1988, in the 2000 block of West 102nd Place in the Westmont area of Los Angeles County. Her death was later attributed to the notorious serial killer known as the "Grim Sleeper." The Grim Sleeper, identified as Lonnie David Franklin Jr., was responsible for a series of murders spanning from 1985 to 2007. Jefferson was believed to be the seventh victim in this series of killings.
