Howard Epstein, a 45-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on April 30, 1992, during the infamous Los Angeles riots. Epstein, who had flown to Los Angeles from upstate to inspect his machine shop located in South-Central Los Angeles, was attacked while in his car. According to reports, he was shot by a mob in Hyde Park, a neighborhood in Los Angeles County.
