Robert Brens, a 28-year-old history teacher at Lindhurst High School in Olivehurst, California, tragically lost his life on May 1, 1992, during a horrific school shooting. The incident unfolded when Eric Houston, a former student of Lindhurst High School, entered the school armed with a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun and a sawed-off .22 caliber rifle.
