Lonnie Long Jr., aged 57, tragically lost his life on August 31, 2020, in Olivehurst, California. The incident occurred when Long attempted to intervene in a fight between a group of teenagers outside his residence on South Gledhill Avenue. According to reports, Long was shot while trying to break up the altercation and was subsequently transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
