Ricardo Calderon, a 12-year-old boy from Simi Valley, California, tragically lost his life on September 7, 2001. Ricardo was one of three victims in a horrific shooting incident that took place in his family home. The other victims were his grandmother, Esperanza Martinez, aged 80, and his 4-year-old relative, Shantal Rios.
