In the midst of organizing a toy drive for children who had lost parents to violence, 33-year-old Sean Davis, a male business owner and community activist, was fatally shot in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred on the afternoon of December 17, 2019, outside of his auto shop, Opus Auto, located in the 1100 block of East 25th Street. Davis, known to many as 'LayedBack Jack,' was a respected figure in his community, known for his positive attitude and his dedication to helping others.
