Fernando Pina, a 25-year-old from Zacatecas, Mexico, was tragically murdered on January 27, 2004, in South Whittier, California. Pina, along with Mario Larios and Edgar Valles, was lured to the home of Cimarron Bell under the pretense of purchasing a Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Bell had advertised the car for sale, but his true intention was to rob and kill the prospective buyers. Upon arriving at Bell's residence, the three men were ambushed, shot, and robbed.
