Andrew Todd Stevens, a 37-year-old officer with the California Highway Patrol, tragically lost his life on November 17, 2005, during a routine traffic stop in Yolo County, California. Officer Stevens, who had served with the California Highway Patrol for 13 years, was conducting a traffic stop near the intersection of County Road 96 and Highway 16 when he was fatally shot.
