Yesenia Macias, a 20-year-old Latina woman, tragically lost her life on July 1, 2007, in Alhambra, California. She was fatally shot in the head while in the parking lot of the Townhome Motel located at 3204 W. Main St. The incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. when Yesenia and a Latino man she was with had just arrived at the motel.
