Sara McLean Levens, aged 25, was found dead on December 17, 2008, in her home in Laguna Niguel, California. The tragic discovery was made by her mother, who had not heard from Sara for five days and decided to check on her. Upon entering the residence, she found both Sara and her husband, Justin Levens, deceased in their bed. Both had sustained gunshot wounds to the head.
