Death by Force

Steve Lopez, a 22-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on September 25, 2010, in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, the incident occurred in the 1300 block of Los Palos Street. On that fateful evening, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call of shots fired in the area.
