Julio Manuel Alcantar, a 23-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on October 1, 2012, in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred in the 1000 block of West 66th Street, where Alcantar was one of three victims discovered by authorities following a late-night shooting.
