Ronald Edward Koonce, a 29-year-old man from Los Angeles, California, was tragically shot and killed on June 2, 2017. The incident occurred around 5:35 p.m. in the 8100 block of South Avalon Boulevard in the Florence neighborhood. Koonce was standing in front of 3 Star Market & Liquor with a group of people when a sedan driving south on South Avalon Boulevard approached.
