Margarita Gomez, a 68-year-old resident of Santa Monica, California, tragically lost her life on June 7, 2013, during a violent shooting spree. Gomez, who was known for her daily routine of collecting recyclables around the Santa Monica College campus, was one of five victims killed in the incident.
