On February 11, 2014, Alexis Alfonso Lara, an 18-year-old resident of Delano, California, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Glenwood Street, where officers responded to a report of shots fired around 2:30 PM. Upon arrival, they found Lara with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Kern County coroner's office later identified the victim as Alexis Alfonso Lara.
