Christopher Maurice Franklin, a 20-year-old resident of Long Beach, California, tragically lost his life on February 22, 2014. The incident occurred in the 3400 block of Andy Street, where Long Beach Police responded to a shots fired call around 5:40 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Franklin lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
