Melissa Herrold, a 13-year-old girl from Palm Springs, California, tragically lost her life on March 13, 2014. Melissa and her mother, Cynthia Herrold, were victims of a murder-suicide carried out by Cynthia's live-in boyfriend, Delmar Davis. The incident occurred at their residence on Sunflower Lane, where police discovered the bodies of Melissa, Cynthia, and Davis, who had taken his own life after committing the murders.
