Sally Knauf, a 59-year-old special education teacher from Rochester, New York, tragically lost her life on January 4, 2015, in Palm Springs, California. She was visiting her son, Daniel Knauf, and her daughter-in-law, Bianca Knauf, during her winter break. The incident occurred at the Mojave Blue apartment complex, where authorities discovered the bodies of Sally, Daniel, and Bianca in what was determined to be a double murder-suicide.
