On the night of March 31, 2016, Chad Sokhan Hang, a 17-year-old high school student, was fatally shot in Long Beach, California. At around 11:50 PM, Long Beach Police responded to reports of gunfire on the 1300 block of East 11th Street. They found Hang suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
