Joseph Patton Jr., aged 24, was shot and killed on August 17, 2017, in Long Beach, California. The incident began when Patton was shot in the 900 block of Dayman Street. Despite his injuries, Patton managed to drive a few blocks north, where he eventually crashed into a parked vehicle on Myrtle Avenue. Emergency responders found him with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso and transported him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
