Leonicio Banuelos, a 22-year-old resident of Santa Ana, California, tragically lost his life on May 18, 2014, in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on the 200 block of South Newhope Street. According to reports, Banuelos was walking southbound on the east side of Newhope Street when an occupant in a silver sport utility vehicle (SUV) opened fire, striking him in the upper torso.
