Daniel Alaniz, a 33-year-old Latino male, was tragically shot and killed on June 2, 2014, in Pacoima, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. in the 13700 block of Hoyt Street. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Alaniz died at the scene from gunshot wounds.
