Neil Eugene Decker, a 49-year-old resident of Alderpoint, California, tragically lost his life on July 18, 2014. Decker was fatally shot in the chest at a residence on Rancho Sequoia Drive in the Southern Humboldt area around 10:50 p.m. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries while being transported to a hospital by helicopter.
