Death by Force

Scott William Johnson, aged 57, was found dead on July 21, 2014, in the Rancho Sequoia area of Alderpoint, California. The Humboldt County Deputy Coroner confirmed that Johnson died from a gunshot wound. His body was discovered on a roadway, and the incident was reported to authorities after several gunshots were heard in the area. Johnson's death was the second homicide in the community within a week, following the shooting of Neil Eugene Decker on July 18, 2014.
