Edgar Rene Chaj, a 40-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on August 10, 2014, in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred around 12:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of Thomas Street.
