Daryl Eugene Gatewood, a 27-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on August 23, 2014, in the Central-Alameda neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. when Gatewood and another man were riding motorized bicycles on South Central Avenue. A gunman approached and opened fire, hitting both men.
