Hector Angel Cantun, an 18-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on September 9, 2014, in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred in the 100 block of North Toluca Street. Residents in the area reported hearing gunshots shortly before 8:15 p.m., prompting them to call the police.
