On November 11, 2018, a mass shooting occurred outside the Jammerz Bar on North Broad Street in Globe, Arizona, resulting in the tragic death of Daniel Albo, a 22-year-old resident of Globe. Albo was part of a group that had been playing pool at the bar earlier in the evening. When some members of the group stepped outside to smoke, Sterling Randall Hunt, who was also part of the group, followed them and opened fire with a handgun.
