Williams Boyd III, a 36-year-old resident of Oakland, was tragically shot and killed on November 8, 2014, in Antioch, California. Boyd was found at approximately 2:25 a.m. at the intersection of Grassland Way and Whitehoof Way. He was discovered lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds, and despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
