Alfonso Maldonado, an 18-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on November 10, 2014, in the Florence-Firestone area of California. The incident occurred in the 9000 block of Holmes Avenue, where a Transit Policing Division deputy discovered Maldonado with multiple gunshot wounds while patrolling the neighborhood.
