Livied Arturo Sanchez, aged 33, was tragically killed on February 8, 2015, in Montclair, California. Sanchez, along with Mario Padilla, 34, was found bound with duct tape and fatally shot in a detached garage on Monte Vista Avenue. Richard Corry Roach, 37, was apprehended at the Riverside Hotel and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada, by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Fugitive Recovery Task Force. Roach waived extradition and was transported to the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. The second suspect, David Nash McKell, 35, was already in custody at the Los Angeles County Jail for an unrelated homicide when he was identified as a suspect in the Montclair murders. The investigation revealed that a third man, Edgar Rivera Calderon, managed to escape the scene despite being bound with duct tape. Calderon fled southward down Monte Vista Avenue, bleeding from the neck, and was last seen near the Monte Vista/Howard Street intersection.
