Maria Isabel Duarte, aged 31, tragically lost her life on April 12, 2015, in Desert Hot Springs, California. She was found lying face-down on a sidewalk in the area of Palm Drive and Pierson Boulevard shortly before 3 a.m. that day. Duarte had sustained a gunshot wound to her chest and was pronounced dead at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.
