Joshua Cornell Brown, a 30-year-old aspiring rap artist, was tragically shot and killed on May 24, 2015, in Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred in the 100 block of West 84th Street in the Florence neighborhood. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Brown and another individual were standing on the southwest corner of West 84th and South Main streets shortly after 7 p.m. when they were confronted by two men.
