Oscar Rodriguez-Mireles, a 33-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on May 31, 2015, in the Athens neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. According to law enforcement and coroner's records, the incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. while Rodriguez-Mireles was sitting on the porch of his home on the 11800 block of Berendo Avenue.
