Death by Force

Jose Fernando Pineda, a 30-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on July 22, 2015, in San Pedro, Los Angeles, CA. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred in the 300 block of West 13th Street. Pineda was walking down the street when he was chased by an individual armed with a gun. The assailant fired at Pineda, who lived in the area, and he was subsequently pronounced dead at a hospital at 12:41 a.m. the following day.
