Ray Allen Saiter, aged 68, was found dead on August 6, 2015, in Galt, California, in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide. The incident occurred at a residence on Lyonia Drive, where Saiter lived with his girlfriend, Kimberly Ann Weigant. On the day of the incident, Weigant called her daughter and confessed to killing Saiter, threatening to take her own life as well. The daughter immediately contacted the police, who arrived at the scene shortly after.
