Lamar Thomas, a 39-year-old man from Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on September 6, 2015, after being shot on September 2, 2015. The incident occurred in the 4700 block of South Avalon Boulevard in the South Park neighborhood. According to reports, Thomas was attending a funeral when members of a rival gang approached his group. An exchange of gunfire ensued, during which Thomas was struck.
