On January 21, 2016, Semaj Rashaad Harris and Deante McNeese were arrested, while Sohntee Laray Webb, already in custody on unrelated charges, was also implicated. These individuals were linked to a series of violent incidents, including the shooting that resulted in Salazar's death.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office filed multiple charges against the suspects. Semaj Rashaad Harris, a 24-year-old resident of Long Beach, faced two counts of murder, six counts of attempted murder, and one count of shooting into an inhabited dwelling. Deante McNeese, 22, also from Long Beach, was charged with similar counts. Sohntee Laray Webb, 24, from Palos Verdes, faced one count of murder, three counts of attempted murder, and one count of shooting into an inhabited dwelling. All three suspects were held in Los Angeles County Jail with substantial bail amounts set.
