Francisco Javier Alvarez, a 49-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on October 18, 2015. The incident occurred in Pacoima, near the transition of the westbound 118 Freeway and the northbound 5 Freeway. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Alvarez was shot and killed around 11 a.m. near a homeless encampment adjacent to Paxton Park.
