Pedro Martinez, a 27-year-old Latino, tragically lost his life on October 19, 2015, in Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred in the Pico-Union neighborhood, where Martinez was standing near West 11th and Valencia streets. According to reports, a person exited a black sedan and chased Martinez for about half a block before opening fire.
