Christopher Fletcher, a 24-year-old resident of Modesto, California, tragically lost his life on December 17, 2015. The incident occurred when Modesto Police Department officers, including Tom Fara and Brent Salyer, approached Fletcher on the 800 block of Tenth Street. The officers followed him into a parking garage at the Merrill Lynch Building, where they claimed he was holding a firearm.
