Hector Perez, a 21-year-old resident of Cathedral City, California, tragically lost his life on March 21, 2016, in what authorities described as a drug deal gone wrong. Perez was found by police officers sitting in his car near Baristo Road and Date Palm Drive around 12:53 a.m. He had been shot in the upper body but was still conscious when rescuers arrived. Despite being rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center, Perez succumbed to his injuries. According to police reports, the incident stemmed ...
