Quinones was walking in the street shortly before 6:30 p.m. when a vehicle drove by, and an individual inside fired multiple rounds at him. The vehicle continued traveling east on East 105th Street after the shooting.
Quinones was struck by the gunfire and was subsequently taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:38 p.m.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) launched an investigation into the murder, seeking additional witnesses to provide information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspect(s).
