Claudia Espino Garcia, a 32-year-old resident of Tustin, California, tragically lost her life on May 12, 2016, in a fatal shooting incident at Peralta Canyon Park in Anaheim. The incident occurred in the afternoon, causing a nearby elementary school to go on lockdown as parents were arriving to pick up their children. Claudia was found in the driver’s seat of her white sedan, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Despite being rushed to the hospital, she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The primary suspect in this case was Claudia's estranged husband, Humberto Servin, who was 49 years old at the time. Witnesses at the scene, including several children, provided descriptions of Servin and his vehicle, which led to his arrest approximately 15 minutes after the shooting.
